Plane:
- Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) is located just south of Center City Philadelphia.
- SEPTA Regional Rail R1 train runs between the airport and Center City Philadelphia every 30 minutes between 5am and midnight at a cost of $7.
- Taxi service is avaialble at the airport. One way to Center City Philadelphia is generally availble for a fixed $25 rate.

Getting around once you are here
Car:
- Four Bridges (Ben Franklin Bridge, Walt Whitman Bridge, Betsy Ross Bridge and Commodore Barry Bridge) connect between southern NJ and Metro Phila. The toll is $4 to get into PA and no toll is charged to get into NJ.
- With street parking be sure to read the parking sign for hours and restrictions when you find a metered parking spot. Garage parking rate is between $15 and $20.
Subway and Bus:
- SEPTA operates the subway systems in the downtown area as well as the regional rails in the suburbs. All regional rails run through Center City.
- NJ Transit operates the bus service between Southern NJ and Center City Phila.
- PATCO operates the speedline train between Southern NJ and Center City Phila.

Touristy places to check out:
- Reading Terminal Market for amazing food, a taste of Philly & Amish Culture, and a little hustle and bustle.
- The Constitution Center for the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, and the hub of historical Philly.
- Philadelphia - Official Visitor Site for other events, museums and tours.
- Franklin Fountain, the best ice cream (and warm drinks) in Philly, this throwback fountain shop is worth it just for the atmosphere. Between 2nd St and Front St, on Market St.
- The Mütter Museum, museum for medical oddities? 'nuff said.
- Franklin Institute for scienc-y goodness!
